BGS Kids Program Components

BGS Kids is committed to creating the recess of your dreams. Allow us to bring back the excitement to the recess yard for students and teachers. We help provide each school with a safe and inclusive yard; with clear expectations and boundaries. 

Each BGS School will select 4th - 6th grade students to become our Recess Leaders. These mini-coaches will lead games during recess time and ensure that all students are receiving an opportunity at a fun and inclusive recess.

We will partner up some of our leaders from the upper grades to help guide and mentor some of our students from the primary grades who perhaps need a little extra support and encouragement. These Big Buddies will engage in activities in and out of the classroom to help build rapport, self confidence, and accountability.

Each class will be given opportunities to have one on one fun times with your on-site coach. These sessions provide an opportunity to learn new games, fine tune motor skills, while promoting teamwork and healthy competition. 

All BGS Schools will be a part of in-school tournaments at their school, as well as after-school sports leagues and tournaments amongst all BGS Kids. Including sports such as; football, basketball, soccer, and more! This is a great way to promote school pride and teach our students the values of hard work and teamwork.
